  • Education: I have earned a Bachelors in Foreign Language and Global Cultural Studies from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. I studied language, literature and culture in Austria, France, Belgium, Germany and China on Erasmus. I have also earned my Masters in Global Policy and Research at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
  • Practice: I taught English and French to students of varying ages in Burkina Faso with the Peace Corps before being evacuated due to security concerns. I also was a lecturer for undergraduates at Rutgers University during my Masters studies in international relations and political science.

My volunteer work started with education of elementary and high school students in Burkina Faso through the Peace Corps. During my time in BF I worked with women’s groups starting small businesses to promote community economic development and screening local children for malnutrition at Villingen health centers. Following my evacuation from the country, I was deployed to the US Virgin Islands with the American Red Cross to design and conduct a community needs assessment of the islands in response to hurricanes Irma and Maria. I was most recently working at the United Nations Office of Counter Terrorism at the HQ in New York City promoting cooperation between Southern nations to aid against the financing of global terrorism. Following COVID 19 I moved to the Czech Republic and received my TEFL certification and began teaching English.
