International ISIC Scholar Card

We would like to inform you that our school issues its pupils with the ISIC Scholar card. This card is primarily an identification document that confirms the identity of the pupil and his/her affiliation to our school; in addition, it functions as an internationally recognized proof of school attendance, accepted in 130 countries worldwide (including all EU member states), and also as a card usable for approximately 2,000 different discounts and benefits in the Czech Republic.

What does an ISIC Scholar issued through our school bring?

• It is the official ID of a pupil of our school in accordance with the Ten Safe Schools issued by the Ministry of Education.
• For many institutions and public transport operators, it serves as an ideal proof of the holder's age, e.g. for obtaining discounted fares.
• You do not need to get an ISIC card again every year. It is valid for up to five years from the date of issue; it is also limited to the period of attendance at primary school.
• School ISIC Scholar is cheaper! The card costs only 350 CZK for the entire validity period (the card purchased outside the school costs 500 CZK per year). In case of loss or destruction we issue a duplicate for 100 CZK.

What does ISIC Scholar bring?

• Valid in 130 countries, more than 125,000 discounts worldwide.
• It is accepted by carriers nationwide as proof of age and entitlement to a fare discount of 50-75 %.
• Option to take out a special UNIQA travel insurance for the whole year.
• Discounts at more than 2,000 locations in the Czech Republic:
  • in shopping, dining and education, in online shops, see www.isic.cz
  • on entrance fees to cultural institutions
  • for season tickets in ski resorts
  • special mobile tariff from Vodafone
  • on entrance fees to world-famous cultural and historical monuments
  • in cinemas, swimming pools and other entertainment venues

How do I order a pass?

• The ISIC agenda at our school is handled by Mrs. Hana Švamberková
• If you are interested, please bring your application form and pay the fee 350 CZK to the school account No. 5679585369/0800 - please indicate in the message to the recipient ISIC + child's name.
• The photo will be taken at the school.
• Orders will always be sent in bulk for larger numbers of requests
• Please give the signed application form, which can be downloaded here, to Hana Švamberková or your class teacher.
• The finished ID card with a case and lanyard will be issued to the pupils at school.
