Information on enrolment to the 6th and 7th grade in the Orangery s.r.o. Primary School for the school year 2026/2027

Only pupils who not graduated 1st grade elementary school Orangery!

Dates and venue

Enrolment for the 6th and 7th grades at Orangery Elementary School for the 2026/2027 school year will be held on schedule:

Wednesday 20 May 2026

from 15:00 to 16:00

Capacity is max. 8 participants (in case of high interest another block will be opened)

A cash administrative fee of CZK 500 per pupil will be collected at the time of enrolment.

Enrolment will take place in person in the Fresco building of the Orangery Primary School, Narodních hrdinů 312, Prague 9-Dolní Počernice, in the presence of the pupil and both his/her legal representatives.

What you will need to enrol and how enrolment will work

Please have your child's birth certificate, a copy of the report card from the first half of Year 5 and the identity documents of the legal guardians (ID card/passport) ready for registration. Please pack slippers for the pupils. Enrolment will consist of two parts. The first part will be group work, where they will complete several tasks in language (English) and maths with other pupils and teachers, and the second part will be a conversation and a short test in English. In the meantime, the legal guardians will fill in the Application for Admission, draw a registration number for their child and have an interview which will focus on the expectations of the legal guardians and the vision, concept and teaching methods of our school.

Criteria for admission

The following criteria will be considered when deciding on admission to Years 6 and 7 at Orangery Primary School:

• English language level - at least A2

• Level of Czech language and mathematical skills

• Ability to work cooperatively and independently, assessment of selected competences specified in the RVP of primary school and the curriculum (communication, problem solving, ...)

• Understanding and compliance of the pupil's legal representatives with the vision, values, educational methods and overall concept of Orangery Primary School.

Enrolment results

A list of admitted and non-admitted pupils with their registration numbers will be published in Friday 22 May 2026 at 12.00 here on the Orangery Primary School website and posted in the main school building.

Decision on acceptance and signing of the contract

For legal representatives of admitted pupils, the following will be available from Friday 22 May 2026 from 12.00 pm a second online booking system has been launched on the school's website, where the legal representatives of admitted pupils book a specific date to collect their admission decision and sign the contract.

Please note that the collection of the admission decision and the signing of the contract will take place on: Tuesday 26 May 2026 a Wednesday 27 May 2026from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., according to the reservation system, in the school principal's office in the main building of the Orangery Primary School - Národních hrdinů 81, Prague 9 - Dolní Počernice. Please have both legal representatives present to receive the admission decision and sign the contract.

By 15 June 2026, the legal representatives are obliged to pay the tuition fees for the first semester.
