Information on enrolment in the 6th and 7th grade at the Orangery s.r.o. Primary School for the school year 2025/2026

Dates and venue
Enrolment for the 6th and 7th grades at Orangery Elementary School for the 2025/2026 school year will be held on schedule:
Wednesday 21 May 2025
in two blocks from 14.00 and 15.00
The capacity of one block is max. 8 participants
A cash administrative fee of CZK 500 per pupil will be collected at the time of enrolment.
Enrolment will take place in the main building of the Orangery Primary School, Národních hrdinů 81, Prague 9-Dolní Počernice, in the presence of the pupil and both of his/her legal representatives.
Before enrolment takes place, it is necessary make an online reservation for a specific date (2.00 pm - 3.00 pm or 3.00 pm - 4.00 pm) in the booking system using the button below.

What you will need to enrol and how enrolment will work
Please have your child's birth certificate, a copy of the report card from the first half of Year 5 and the identity documents of the legal guardians (ID card/passport) ready for registration. Please pack slippers for the pupils. Enrolment will consist of two parts. The first part will be group work where they will complete several tasks with other pupils and teachers, the second part will be a conversation and a short test in English. Meanwhile, the legal guardians will fill out an Application for Admission, draw a registration number for their child and have an interview which will focus on the expectations of the legal guardians and the vision, concept and teaching methods of our school.
Criteria for admission
The following criteria will be considered when deciding on admission to Years 6 and 7 at Orangery Primary School:
- English language level - at least A2
- Ability to work cooperatively and independently, assessment of selected competences specified in the RVP of primary school and the curriculum (communication, problem solving, ...)
- understanding and compliance of the pupil's legal representatives with the vision, values, educational methods and overall concept of Orangery Primary School.
Enrolment results
A list of admitted and non-admitted pupils with their registration numbers will be published Thursday 22 May 2025 at 12.00 p.m. here on the Orangery Primary School website and posted in the main school building.
Decision on acceptance and signing of the contract
For the legal representatives of the admitted pupils there will be from Thursday 22 May 2025 at 12.00 a second online booking system has been launched on the school's website, in which the legal representatives of admitted pupils book a specific date for collecting the admission decision and signing the contract

until 23 May 2025 - 9.00
Please note that the collection of the admission decision and the signing of the contract will take place the next day, i.e. on Friday 23 May 2025from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., according to the reservation system, in the school principal's office in the main building of the Orangery Primary School - Národních hrdinů 81, Prague 9 - Dolní Počernice. Please have both legal representatives present to receive the admission decision and sign the contract.
By 15 June 2025, legal guardians are obliged to pay the tuition fees for the first semester.
